Ingredients

220g extra firm tofu, drained
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp vegetable oil
1 garlic clove, finely grated
1 tsp fresh root ginger, finely grated
1 tbsp Angus & Oink Chicken Salt
2 tbsp cornflour
Small bunch spring onions, sliced
Coriander leaves
1 red chilli, sliced

Method

  1. Dry the tofu thoroughly using kitchen paper, then slice it into bite-sized cubes. Heat the air fryer to 200°C while you prepare the coating.
  2. Combine the soy sauce, vegetable oil, garlic, ginger and Angus & Oink chicken salt in a bowl. Add the tofu and gently toss until each piece is evenly covered. Scatter over the cornflour and carefully turn the tofu again so it’s lightly coated.
  3. Arrange the tofu in the air fryer basket and cook for 12–15 minutes, giving it a shake partway through, until the outside is crisp and deeply golden.
  4. Top with fresh coriander leaves, red chilli slices and then serve.
