Veganuary is set to take part in the TCS London Marathon in 2026, with actor Eva O’Hara and content creator Nicole Whittle (aka @veganbeautygirl) running to raise funds for the charity.
The world-famous marathon, taking place on 26 April 2026, will see thousands of runners take to the streets of London and this year Veganuary will proudly join them. This marks an exciting new milestone for the campaign that began on a kitchen table in Yorkshire which has since grown into a global movement.
Now active in 20 countries, Veganuary supports people around the world to try vegan in January and beyond. In 2026 alone, roughly 30 million people worldwide chose to try vegan as part of Veganuary* with participants coming from almost every country in the world. As Veganuary continues to grow internationally, its appearance at the London Marathon reflects the movement’s expanding reach.
Eva O’Hara, known for her work on stage and screen as well as her advocacy for animals, will be running in support of Veganuary’s work to make plant-based eating accessible, positive and mainstream.
Speaking about why she’s chosen to run the marathon, Eva says:
“I will be running the London Marathon alongside Veganuary this year to continue to stand up for animals who cannot speak for themselves. Veganuary has helped me understand how to fuel my body properly as a vegan, giving me the confidence and strength I need to take on such a challenge. Their constant uplifting of the vegan lifestyle is incredibly inspiring to me. Every mile run will be a reminder that compassion is a choice we make every day, and I’m proud to support a charity that works tirelessly to protect and honour all living beings.”

Eva will be joined by popular content creator and animal advocate Nicole Whittle, who is a long-term vegan. Nicole says:
“Being vegan pre-Veganuary was a very different world… and they’re the reason it’s changed so much. They made veganism mainstream, fun, and genuinely accessible with simple swaps that have kept so many animals off plates. It’s for that life-saving work that I’m proud to run the London Marathon for them.”

Funds raised through the London Marathon will support Veganuary’s year-round work across its international campaigns. Every donation helps Veganuary reach more people, inspire kinder food choices and create lasting change for animals, the planet and our health.
